Skip Carruth, President of McLane Intelligent Solutions, is a 1982 graduate of Texas A&M University (whoop!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent 3 years as a project engineer in the semiconductor electronics field in Dallas before moving to Temple and becoming Engineering Manager for a specialty hydraulics equipment company. He increasingly focused on the use of computer technology to design, test, and build using state-of-the-art solid modeling software. He left in 1999 to start JC Technology Group, a small IT support business helping businesses more effectively use their IT resources. JC Tech was sold to McLane Group in the summer of 2004 and eventually became McLane Intelligent Solutions (MIS). Skip’s passion is helping people and businesses succeed. MIS and his entire team embody the values of integrity, service above self, hard work, eliminating waste and having great joy. Skip bring these values and the skills of his team to those businesses and entities that want to maximize the value of their investment in information technology.

Skip resides in Temple with his wife Lori and they have an active ministry through their church. They also have 3 children – two are married (hoping for grandchildren!)  and the third is entering engineering school at Texas A&M.
